Press felt can be divided into: the first top press felt, the first bottom press felt, the second top press felt, the second bottom press felt, vacuum press felt, vacuum top press felt, vacuum bottom press felt, the first top press felt with large roll diameter, the first bottom press felt with large roll diameter, the second top press felt with large roll diameter, the second bottom press felt with large roll diameter.
The forming felt is sometimes called the pick up felt.
The prepressing felt also includes the prepressing top felt, the vacuum prepressing top felt, the vacuum turning felt, etc.
Function:
1. Water filtering:
As a dehydration medium, when the paper web is dewatered in the vacuum box and the press area, the paper felt absorbs and filters the water separated from the paper page.
2. Leveling:
In the process of web transfer and dehydration, it plays a role in smoothing and modifying the paper surface.
3. Conveyor belt:
The web part transfers the paper sheet to the dryer section through the press section, and drives the passive roll and the cylinder mould to operate.
